Ahi Tuna Poke in Avocado

There are so many ways that I enjoy a good tuna. I have made so many varieties tuna recipes and it is my all time favorite seafood. This idea was an accident as I had avocados that needed to be used. This ahi tuna poke in avocado was just a different spin on tuna with avocado I had made before. Simple, quick, healthy and ready on 5-min.

Ingredients
- 4 oz sushi grade tuna cut into small 1/2 inch cubes
- 1 avocado cut in half, pit removed
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh minced ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon wasabi powder
- 1/2 teaspoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon chopped cilantro
- 1 green onion sliced
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- lime zest for garnish
- Black sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- 1. Using a glass bowl combine tuna, cilantro, ginger, onion, wasabi powder and lime juice and gently fold
- 2. In a small glass dish combine soy sauce, lime juice and soy sauce and stir
- 3. Add the liquid to the tuna and gently fold
- 4. Divide the tuna in half placing each half in the avocado, garish with lime zest and sesame seeds
