At My Favorite Italian Specialty Market

I am with some really friendly people at Doris’s Italian Specialty Market, who are explaining to me a Sicilian tradition with this artistic dessert of a lamb that dates back centuries. I love people and I love hearing about other traditions.

Getting some rack of lamb for Easter and Italian sausage at my favorite Italian specialty store, Doris’. I have only 2-more days until I am able to eat again and I am so excited to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ. There are so many Italian Specialty stores here in south Florida but none is as awesome as Doris’. I just love this place. Prime cuts of beef, cheeses I never even knew existed and the best Ricotta cheese I’ve ever had in my life. Not just Ricotta but fresh Ricotta. It really should be illegal it’s so good. The desserts look really fantastic but fortunately I do not have much of a sweet tooth except for tiramisu. This place is a one stop shop for any Italian dish and the quality is second to none. Even my dear friend from Italy when she was at this store could not stop saying unbelievable, only in Italy…only in Italy. Well, Welcome to Doris’ where even a native Italian will be blown away. If ever in south Florida you have to check this place out and there are several locations throughout south Florida.

Being I have been on a very strict diet for Lent the 21-day Danial Fast with Christ Fellowship, I’ve lost a lot of weight but can I tell you that I am so craving meat it makes my mouth water every time I think of it. And if you were wondering, my fast was not for dietary reasons but to get more connected with God and I had the most incredible experience I cannot even put it into words. I am looking forward to sharing it with others.
