Let the Journey Begin

Well here goes my vision of the Social Chef. Just a little over 4-months I started this vision and today I leave for Brazil never imagining it would start out like this. It’s rather hard to believe that this is happening. Dr. John Maxwell said something that his pastor told him when he was starting his spiritual journey. Make your dream so big that if it happens everyone will know it’s God because everyone who knows you knows you’re not that good.

No idea where this journey is going to take me but I know I am going to enjoy every moment, every experience, every person I meet along the way. I’m going to stop every once in a while and suck it all in. I know one thing for sure, I am walking around all evening with a smile constantly shaking my head and saying…this is really happening. The things that transformed along the way and the people that I have met way before the idea ever came about was all planned. It didn’t just happen, oh no, it is so much bigger than that. This is purely God looking out for me. So I am going to get ready now and I will try my best to keep you posted as to what is going on and what I am doing. I will share with you my journey to Brasil and what I am doing. And you know that part of the reason I continued without any idea that this day would actually happen is because of you. You who have commented on my dishes I’ve prepared, the videos I shot and I thank you for keeping me motivated. I really am very grateful.

gratitude for all you do and all your generosity, thank you seems so minimal. Who would have ever thought a tap on a shoulder at a Halloween party would have turned into this? I’m so excited and I am so ready for this journey and what more could anyone ask for than to be doing it all with your best friend the food lover.
